Talk About a Great Guy!
 While
I was attending Wizard World Chicago in August of 2005, Wayne Roberts (Reconsgt)
and I ran into Steve Sansweet. We said "hello" to him, and thought we were
only going to get the chance to say "hello" to him and nothing more. Boy,
were we wrong. Instead, we actually spoke with him for almost 15 minutes.
We learned a great deal about him: what his favorite items are in his
collection (items made by fans), what his thoughts are about Wizard World,
and most importantly we learned what a wonderful guy he truly is. He never
once showed that he really had to get away to something more important as
we stood there talking, because we were having a good down-to-Earth
conversation with one another. Just before us going our separate ways, I
asked him for his autograph, and was lucky enough that he ended doing just
that for us. Sadly the only thing I had in my position for him to sign was
the press booklet we received from Wizard World's PR people, but
regardless I got his autograph which I will cherish forever.
